- Faulty brake light switch: The brake light switch is located under the brake pedal. When you press the pedal, the switch sends a signal to the brake lights to turn on. If the switch is faulty, it won't be able to send the signal, and the lights won't come on.
- Blown fuse: The brake lights are also protected by a fuse. If the fuse blows, it will cut power to the brake lights, and they won't come on.
- Bad bulb: It's also possible that one or both of your brake light bulbs have simply burned out.
