1. Open the hood of the vehicle.
2. Locate the throttle body. It is a cylindrical metal part located on the front of the engine, just below the air filter box.
3. The IAC module is attached to the side of the throttle body. It is a small, black plastic part with a single electrical connector.
4. To remove the IAC module, disconnect the electrical connector and then use a wrench to loosen the two bolts that hold it in place.
5. Once the bolts are loose, you can remove the IAC module from the throttle body.
6. Inspect the IAC module for damage or contamination. If it is damaged or contaminated, it will need to be replaced.
7. To reinstall the IAC module, simply reverse the removal procedure.
