How do you change the starter on a 1998 Cadillac Eldorado with 46 Northstar engine?

Tools and Materials Needed:

- Ratchet and Socket Set

- Pry Bar

- Flashlight

- Safety Goggles

- Replacement Starter

- New Gasket

Step 1: Prepare the Vehicle:

1. Park your Cadillac Eldorado on a level surface and engage the parking brake.

2. Securely tighten the two starter mounting bolts.

Step 10: Reconnect the Electrical Connectors:

1. Reconnect the two electrical connectors to the starter solenoid.

2. Ensure the connectors are properly seated and locked in place.

Step 11: Reattach the Air Filter Assembly:

1. Reconnect the air intake duct if it was disconnected earlier.

2. Reinstall the air filter housing cover.
