Where is 2000 Chrysler lhs coolant temp switch?

How to Replace a Coolant Temperature Sensor on a 2000 Chrysler LHS

Locate the coolant temperature switch. On the 2000 Chrysler LHS, it is located on the passenger side of the engine, near the top of the cylinder head. It is usually black or gray in color, and it has two wires attached to it.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the coolant temperature switch. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry the connector apart.

Use a 19 mm wrench to loosen the coolant temperature switch. Turn the switch counterclockwise until it is completely out of the engine.

Remove the old O-ring from the coolant temperature switch. Be careful not to drop the O-ring into the engine.

Install a new O-ring on the coolant temperature switch. Make sure that the O-ring is seated properly.

Screw the coolant temperature switch into the engine. Tighten the switch until it is snug.

Reconnect the electrical connector to the coolant temperature switch.

Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Check for any leaks. If there are no leaks, the coolant temperature sensor has been successfully replaced.
