1. Park your car in a safe location and turn off the engine. Engage the parking brake.
2. Open the trunk of your car.
3. Locate the taillight lenses. The taillight lenses are located on either side of the trunk lid.
4. Remove the taillight lenses. To remove the taillight lenses, you will need to unscrew the two screws that hold each lens in place.
5. Remove the old brake light bulbs. Once the taillight lenses are removed, you will be able to access the brake light bulbs. To remove the brake light bulbs, simply rotate them counterclockwise until they come out of their sockets.
6. Install the new brake light bulbs. To install the new brake light bulbs, simply insert them into the sockets and rotate them clockwise until they are secure.
7. Replace the taillight lenses. Once the new brake light bulbs are installed, you can replace the taillight lenses. To do this, simply align the lenses with the screw holes and screw them back into place.
8. Test the brake lights. Turn on your car's headlights and press the brake pedal. The brake lights should now be working properly.
