2. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
3. Open the hood of your Jeep Cherokee.
4. Locate the windshield washer fluid reservoir. It is a translucent plastic container located on the passenger side of the engine compartment.
5. Follow the hose that leads from the reservoir to the washer pump. The washer pump is a small, cylindrical device that is mounted near the bottom of the reservoir.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the washer pump.
7. Use a wrench to loosen the bolts that hold the washer pump in place.
8. Remove the washer pump from the vehicle.
