Where is the dip stick for transmission fluid a 2002 ford taurus?

The 2002 Ford Taurus does not have a dipstick for checking the transmission fluid level. Instead, the transmission fluid level is checked by removing the fill plug on the side of the transmission and allowing a small amount of fluid to overflow. The fill plug is located on the passenger side of the transmission, near the top of the bellhousing.
