1) Make sure that you have added enough gas to the tank. Check your gas gauge and add enough fuel to bring the needle up to at least 1/4 of a tank.
2) Check the battery terminals. Make sure that they are clean and tight. If they are loose or corroded, clean them with a wire brush and baking soda, then reconnect them tightly.
3) Check the spark plugs. If they are dirty or worn, they may need to be replaced.
4) Check the fuel filter. If it is clogged, it may need to be replaced.
5) Check the fuel pump. If it is not working properly, it may need to be replaced.
If you have checked all of these things and the truck still will not start, you may need to take it to a mechanic to have them diagnose the problem.
