2. Connect the trailer lights to the wiring harness. The four pins on the connector are labeled:
- Left turn/Stop
- Right Turn/Stop

Match the wires from the trailer lights to the corresponding pins on the connector.
- Connect the left turn/stop wire to the left turn/stop pin.
- Connect the right turn/stop wire to the right turn/stop pin.
- Connect the tail lights wire to the tail lights pin.
- Connect the ground wire to the ground pin.
3. Secure the connections with electrical tape. Wrap the connections with electrical tape to prevent them from coming loose.
4. Test the trailer lights. Turn on the headlights and brake lights on the Silverado. The trailer lights should illuminate accordingly.
If the trailer lights do not work, check the following:
- Make sure that the connections are secure.
- Make sure that the trailer lights are working.
- Check the Silverado's fuse box to make sure that the trailer light fuse is not blown.
