1. Jack up the front of the car and place jack stands under the frame.
2. Remove the front wheels.
3. Disconnect the sway bar link from the lower control arm.
4. Remove the castle nut and cotter pin from the top of the shock absorber.
5. Remove the shock absorber from the car.
6. Install the new shock absorber in reverse order of removal.
7. Tighten the castle nut to the specified torque.
8. Install a new cotter pin.
9. Reconnect the sway bar link to the lower control arm.
10. Repeat steps 3-10 on the other side of the car.
11. Lower the car and remove the jack stands.
12. Test drive the car to ensure the shocks are working properly.

- Use a jack that can support the weight of the car.
- Be careful not to damage the brake lines when disconnecting the sway bar link.
- Tighten the castle nut to the proper torque to prevent the shock from coming loose.
