In 2017, RM Sotheby’s sold a mostly original Model T for $280,000. The car was a 1909 Model T Touring and according to the company’s website, it was a “time capsule, having spent much of its life slumbering in climate-controlled storage.” The car was found unrestored in a barn and was believed to have not been on public roads for over 50 years.
Restored Model T
Model T’s in very good condition that have undergone restoration can sell for well over $200,000. In September 2021, Mecum Auctions sold a restored 1910 Model T Touring for $247,500 including buyer’s premium. In January 2018, Mecum sold a restored 1919 Model T Roadster for $242,000.
Average Model T
The average price for a Model T seems to be around $100,000, even for models in good condition. An unrestored Model T will typically sell for under $50,000. These cars require extensive amounts of restoration work to even be driven.
