Tools and Materials Needed:

- Flat-head screwdriver
- Trim removal tool (optional)
Step 1: Remove visible screws.
- Locate all the visible screws holding the interior panel in place. These screws are usually found around the edges of the panel, near the door handles, armrests, and other controls.
- Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen and remove these screws. Be careful not to drop the screws.
Step 2: Disengage clips and fasteners.
- Once the visible screws are removed, there will likely be additional clips or fasteners holding the panel in place.
- Use a flat-head screwdriver or a trim removal tool to gently pry these clips or fasteners loose.
- Work around the edges of the panel, releasing each clip or fastener until the panel feels loose.
Step 3: Lift the panel carefully.
- With all the screws removed, and clips released, carefully lift the interior panel upwards to detach it from the door frame.
- There might be some wires attached to the panel, like power window switches or speakers. Be careful not to pull or damage these wires.
Step 4: Disconnect any electrical connectors.
- If there are any electrical connectors attached to the panel, such as power window switches or speakers, disconnect them carefully.
- Press the release tabs on the connectors and gently pull them apart.
Step 5: Remove the panel completely.
- Once all the screws are removed, clips are disengaged, and electrical connectors are disconnected, you should be able to remove the interior panel completely.
