1. Open the hood of your car.
2. Locate the power steering fluid reservoir. It is usually a clear or translucent plastic tank with a black cap. It is located on the driver's side of the engine bay, near the firewall.
3. Check the fluid level. The fluid level should be between the "FULL" and "ADD" marks on the reservoir.
4. If the fluid level is low, add enough fluid to bring it to the proper level. Use only power steering fluid that is recommended by the manufacturer.
5. Replace the cap on the reservoir and close the hood.
