1. Locate the fuel tank. The fuel tank is usually located under the rear seat of the car.
2. Remove the rear seat. To remove the rear seat, first, remove the bolts that hold it in place. Then, lift the seat up and out of the car.
3. Remove the fuel tank cover. The fuel tank cover is usually located on the top of the fuel tank. To remove the cover, use a screwdriver to pry it off.
