How do you access the battery on a Suzuki savage 650?

To access the battery on a Suzuki Savage 650, follow these steps:

1. Make sure that the motorcycle is turned off

2. Turn the fuel petcock to the "OFF" position.

3. Remove the left side cover. Note: There are (3) 8mm bolts to remove.

4. Disconnect the negative terminal cable. Note: Located on the left lower side of the motorcycle.

5. Disconnect the positive terminal cable. Note: Located on the right lower side of the motorcycle.

6. Remove the battery box.

7. Remove the battery.
