1. Locate the air filter housing. The air filter housing is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment, near the front of the car. It is a black plastic box with a hose connected to it.
2. Remove the air filter housing cover. There are two clips that hold the cover in place. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry the clips open and remove the cover.
