Can a car battery shock kill you?

No. Car batteries supply a voltage of 6 to 12 volts, which is the same as the voltage supplied by the ordinary flashlight battery. While low-voltage shock will be painful and may cause minor injuries such as superficial burns if the electrical contact is long enough, this voltage is not high enough to cause death due to cardiac arrest or electrocution.
