Instructions:
1. Park your Honda CRX in a well-ventilated area. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
2. Locate the AC compressor mounting bracket on the front of the engine. Remove the bolts holding the bracket in place and remove the bracket.
3. Install the new AC compressor onto the mounting bracket. Secure it with the removed bolts.
4. Connect the AC hoses to the compressor and the condenser. Tighten the hose connections securely.
5. Install the AC condenser in the front of the vehicle. Secure it with the provided bolts or brackets.
6. Connect the AC hoses to the evaporator. Tighten the hose connections securely.
7. Install the evaporator inside the passenger compartment of the vehicle. Secure it with the provided bolts or brackets.
8. Connect the AC hoses to the expansion valve. Tighten the hose connections securely.
9. Install the expansion valve in the engine compartment. Secure it with the provided bolts or brackets.
10. Connect the AC hoses to the receiver-drier. Tighten the hose connections securely.
11. Install the receiver-drier in the engine compartment. Secure it with the provided bolts or brackets.
12. Evacuate the AC system using a vacuum pump. This will remove any air and moisture from the system.
13. Charge the AC system with refrigerant. Follow the instructions provided with your AC kit.
14. Test the AC system to ensure that it is working properly. Turn on the engine and set the AC to the coldest setting. The air coming from the vents should be cold and refreshing.
*Note*: If you are not comfortable working on your car's AC system, it is best to have it done by a qualified mechanic.
