Where is Chevy engine temperature sending unit for a 327 cu?

The temperature sending unit on a Chevy 327 is located on the intake manifold, on the driver’s side of the engine. It is screwed into a hole in the manifold, just above the water pump. The temperature sending unit is a small, cylindrical device with a wire connector on top. The wire from the temperature sending unit connects to the temperature gauge on the dashboard.
