Remove the door panel. The door panel is usually held in place by a few screws. Once the screws are removed, you can pry the panel off using a flat-head screwdriver.
Locate the power window motor. The power window motor is usually located inside the door, behind the door panel. It is a small, black motor with a few wires attached to it.
Disconnect the electrical connector. Unplug the electrical connector that is attached to the power window motor.
Remove the power window regulator bolts. There are usually four bolts holding the power window regulator in place. Remove these bolts using a ratchet and socket.
Remove the power window regulator. Once the bolts are removed, you can remove the power window regulator by lifting it up and out of the door.
Remove the old power window motor from the power window regulator. The old power window motor is held in place by two screws. Remove these screws using a Phillips-head screwdriver.
Install the new power window motor. Place the new power window motor in the same position as the old one and replace the screws that you removed in the previous step.
Reinstall the power window regulator. Place the power window regulator back into the door and replace the four bolts that you removed in the previous step.
Reattach the electrical connector. Plug the electrical connector back into the power window motor.
Test the power window motor. Turn the ignition on and try to operate the power window. The power window should move up and down smoothly if the motor is installed correctly.
Reinstall the door panel. Once you have tested the power window motor, you can reinstall the door panel by snapping it back into place and replacing the screws that you removed in the first step.
