Is there a trick to get your car shut off with timing problem?

If your car has a timing problem, it may not be possible to turn it off with a key. In newer vehicles, there is no physical connection between the ignition switch and the engine, and the electrical switch will send a low voltage signal to the computers before completely turning off the vehicle. If you are unable to turn your car off normally, you may need to use a device called an engine disable switch or a fuel shutoff valve. These devices can be installed by a mechanic and are designed to stop the flow of fuel to the engine, which will cause it to shut off. Some vehicles have fuel shut off valves or emergency disconnection cables on the side of the engine, but these are typically only found in older cars and trucks.
