Why would your blinkers not work on 2001 dodge ram 1500 if changed bulb?

Flashing Too Fast

If your turn signals start to flash two times faster or more than normal, check the electrical connection to your turn signal flasher. Clean or replace the flasher if needed.

Not Flashing

Here are some possible causes if your turn signals are not flashing at all:

Loose Wiring: Verify that the electrical connection is sound for the flasher and the light sockets.

Blown Fuse: Check the fuse box to investigate whether the fuse for the turn signals is blown. Replace it if so.

Malfunctioning Flasher Relay: Replace the turn signal flasher relay with a new one.

Faulty Switch: If the blinkers do not work still after changing all of the above, try replacing the combination (multifunction) switch as it might have an internal issue.

Hyper-Flashing

If your turn signals are "hyper-flashing" (flashing very fast), it may be due to one or more burned-out bulbs. Replace all the burned-out bulbs and see if that solves the problem. If it does not, you may have a faulty flasher relay.
