1. Park your vehicle and allow the engine to cool down.
2. Open the hood. Locate the deflector cap inside the headlight housing.
3. Turn the deflector cap counterclockwise to remove it from the headlight housing. Use your fingers to turn the cap or pliers if more force is needed. Do so by carefully gripping the edge of the cap.
4. Remove the old deflector cap from the headlight housing.
5. Inspect the new deflector cap to make sure it is the correct size and shape for your headlight.
6. Place the new deflector cap into the headlight housing.
7. Turn the deflector cap clockwise to secure it in place.
8. Close the hood of your vehicle.
