What are the advantages of LPG cars?

Advantages of LPG cars:

- Lower fuel cost: LPG is typically less expensive than gasoline. This cost advantage can be significant, especially for owners of vehicles with high fuel economy.

- No diesel Particulate Matter filters (DPF). DPF require regeneration at regular intervals to burn off accumulated soot. These are not required on LPG vehicles.

- Greater driving range: LPG vehicles can often travel further on a single tank of fuel than gasoline-powered vehicles. This is because LPG burns more efficiently and has a higher energy density than gasoline.

- Reduced carbon emissions: LPG produces fewer carbon emissions than gasoline, making it better for the environment. This is because LPG contains less carbon and does not produce as many carbon particles as gasoline. LPG produces lower than gasoline of Nitrogen Oxides (NoX), Carbon monoxide (CO), Particulate matter (PM) and Hydrocarbon (HC).

- Fewer engine deposits: LPG does not produce as many deposits in the engine as gasoline. This can help to keep the engine running smoothly and reduce the need for maintenance.

- No need to alter ignition or valves: LPG fuelled engines do not need any major internal changes and hence do not affect warranty.

- Higher octane rating: LPG has a higher octane rating than gasoline, which means it is less likely to knock or ping. This can help to improve the performance of your vehicle.

- More convenient refuelling: LPG can be refuelled more quickly and easily than gasoline if an appropriate station is available.

- Cheaper maintenance: LPG does not produce the carbon, sludge and varnish deposits that gasoline does. This means LPG engines tend to last longer and need less maintenance with reduced maintenance costs.

- Safer: LPG is classified flammable rather than explosive, and unlike petrol is not ignited on contact with the heat from a naked flame.
