Wuling Hong Guang MINI EV breaks sales record again in November

When Wuling decided to have this small electric car powered with cobalt-free LFP batteries delivered by four suppliers, it made it clear that high volume production was expected.

• Width: 1.493 mm
• Height: 1.621 mm
• Seats: 4 (2 adults and 2 kids)
• Motor: 20 kW (peak) and 85 N.m of torque
• Top speed: 100 km/h (62 mph)
• Range: 120-170 km (NEDC)
• Starting price: between 28.800 and 38.800 yuan (3.662 and 4.933 euros)

This electric car doesn’t risk having its production constrained by battery supply. Reaching a monthly production of 50.000 units now seems feasible, but will it reach an impressive milestone of 100.000 units?

Nonetheless, even 100.000 monthly units may not be enough to fulfill the high demand this electric car has in China alone.
