Here are some additional tips for changing the battery in a 1998 Mercedes-Benz ML 320:
* Make sure that you have the correct replacement battery. The battery must have the same voltage (12 volts), amperage (at least 70 amps), and physical size as the original battery.
* When disconnecting the battery terminals, be careful not to touch the positive and negative terminals together, as this could cause a spark.
* If the battery is leaking acid, wear gloves and eye protection to protect yourself.
* Dispose of the old battery properly by recycling it at a local auto parts store or battery recycling center.
