1. Prepare your tools. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver, a flat head screwdriver, and a multimeter.
2. Remove the door panel. To do this, remove the screws that hold the door panel in place. There are usually two screws located at the top of the door panel, and two screws located at the bottom of the door panel. Once the screws are removed, pry the door panel off gently using the flat head screwdriver.
3. Locate the power window switch. The power window switch is usually located on the driver's side door panel. It is a rectangular-shaped switch with four buttons, one for each window.
4. Disconnect the power window switch. To do this, use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the power window switch in place. Then, gently pull the power window switch out of the door panel.
5. Test the power window switch. To do this, use the multimeter to test the continuity of the switch. Set the multimeter to the continuity setting, and then touch one probe to each of the terminals on the power window switch. If the multimeter beeps, then the switch is working properly.
6. Reinstall the power window switch. If the power window switch is not working properly, you will need to replace it. To do this, simply reverse the steps that you took to remove the old power window switch.
