The hood release lever is usually located on the driver's side footwell, near the brake pedal. It is a small, black lever with a red or orange tip.
Step 2: Pull the hood release lever.
Pull the hood release lever up until you hear the hood pop up.
Step 3: Lift the hood.
Lift the hood up until it is fully open.
Step 4: Prop the hood open.
Prop the hood open with the hood prop rod. The hood prop rod is located on the driver's side of the engine bay.
