Instructions:
1. Open the hood of your vehicle.
2. Locate the air filter housing, which is usually positioned on the top or side of the engine. It may be covered by a plastic cover that needs to be removed with a flathead screwdriver.
3. Remove the old air filter by grasping it and pulling it straight up out of the housing.
4. Inspect the old air filter for dirt and debris. If it is excessively dirty, it may be time to replace it with a new one.
5. Insert the new air filter into the housing, ensuring that it is seated properly.
6. Replace the plastic cover if necessary, and close the hood of your vehicle.
