Was the P-51 Mustang used by civilians?
The P-51 Mustang was primarily used by the United States Army Air Forces during World War II. However, a limited number of P-51 Mustangs were used by civilians after the war. Some Mustangs were sold as surplus to civilian owners, while others were converted for use as racing or aerobatic aircraft. Today, there are still a number of privately owned P-51 Mustangs that are flown at air shows and other events.
