1. Make sure the car is in "Park" and the ignition is turned off.
2. Locate the trunk release lever inside the vehicle. It is usually found near the driver's seat, under the dashboard.
3. Pull the trunk release lever. This should release the trunk latch and allow you to open the trunk.
4. If the trunk still does not open, you may need to use a key to unlock it. Insert the key into the trunk lock cylinder and turn it clockwise. This should release the latch and allow you to open the trunk.
5. If the key does not work, you may need to use a slim jim or other tool to manually unlock the trunk latch. Be careful not to damage the vehicle when using this method.
