Nottingham’s Biggest Ever Electric Event

Nottingham City Council Goes Ultra Low!

Nottingham City Council is committed to reducing its impact on the environment by introducing cleaner vehicles into its fleet. On Wednesday 12th October, the City Council will be launching their national accreditation as a Go Ultra Low Company by holding a free public event in Old Market Square in the centre of town.

You will be able to take a look at some of the council’s Nissan Leaf and eNV200 electric fleet vehicles, which are helping to improve air quality in the town, as well as take a tour around one of Nottingham’s new, 100% electric BYD buses which will be in operation soon in the Linkbus network.

A range of ultra-low emission vehicles will be on display, including BMW, VW, Audi, Nissan, Tesla, and EV experts from DriveElectric will be on hand to answer your questions and help you find out more about how leasing offers an affordable way to own an electric car.

The split Screen Coffee Company will be available to purchase cracking coffee and cakes. For younger ones there’s an ingenious temporary track with four electric powered cars to race. And don’t miss the ‘Know your EV’ competition to win a £50 INTU shopping voucher!! No tickets are required for this event, simply come along between 9am-5pm.
