Do all have belt drive?

Not all turntables have belt drive; there are also direct drive turntables.

In belt-drive turntables, a rubber belt connects the motor to the turntable platter. When the motor rotates, the belt moves the platter, thus spinning the record. In contrast, direct drive turntables have the motor directly powering the platter, eliminating the need for a belt.
