1. Open the hood of your vehicle.
2. Locate the oil dipstick. It is usually located on the driver's side of the engine, near the front.
3. The dipstick is a thin, metal rod with a round handle at the top. It should be labeled with the word "OIL."
4. To check the oil level, pull the dipstick out of the dipstick tube and wipe it clean with a rag.
5. Then, reinsert the dipstick into the dipstick tube all the way down.
6. Pull the dipstick out again and check the oil level. The oil should be between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks on the dipstick.
If the oil level is low, add oil to the engine. Be careful not to overfill the engine.
