1. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws holding the plastic trim around the gearshift lever.
2. Gently pry the plastic trim away from the center console to expose the back of the switch panel.

4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the switch panel.
5. Remove the switch panel from the car.
6. Remove the blank switch cover from the switch panel.
