2. Remove the plastic cover that is located beneath the rear of the engine.
3. Identify the fuel pressure regulator, which is a small, cylindrical-shaped component that is located on the fuel rail.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel pressure regulator.
5. Use a wrench to loosen the bolt that secures the fuel pressure regulator to the fuel rail.
6. Remove the fuel pressure regulator from the fuel rail.
7. Reinstall the new fuel pressure regulator in reverse order of removal.
