Where is the location of heater blower motor resistor on a 1999 Volkswagen Passat?

1999 Volkswagen Passat: Heater Blower Motor Resistor

1. Pull the floor vent from below dash.

2. Locate the round fan housing behind the lower dash.

3. Find the large black connector plugged into the fan motor housing near firewall.

4. The resistor is attached the fan housing next to the electrical connector you found in step 3.
