How do you change the cabin air filter on a Volvo s60?

To change the cabin air filter on a Volvo S60, follow these steps:

1. Remove the panel behind the glove box:

- Open the glove box and remove the contents.

- Press the sides of the glove box inwardly and pull it towards you to detach the top of the glove box.

- Then pull it down to remove the glove box entirely.

- Locate the panel behind the glove box.

- Press both the tabs on both sides of the panel to release it.

- Remove the panel by pulling it towards you.

2. Remove the old cabin air filter:

- Locate the old cabin air filter inside the filter compartment.

- Grasp the filter by its edges and pull it out gently.

3. Clean the filter compartment (Optional):

- (Optional) Clean the filter compartment using a vacuum cleaner to remove any dust or debris.

4. Insert the new cabin air filter:

- Before inserting the new cabin air filter, make sure to align it correctly. The airflow direction arrows should be facing towards the interior of the vehicle.

- Insert the new cabin air filter into the filter compartment.

- Press it firmly until it clicks into place.

5. Replace the panel and glove box:

- Replace the panel back into place. Make sure to snap it securely.

- Reattach the glove box by aligning the top and pushing it into place.

- Close the glove box.
