1. Prepare the car. Put the car in park and turn off the engine. Engage the parking brake.
2. Unlatch the top. There are two latches on the top of the windshield, one on each side. Release these latches by pushing down on them.
3. Fold the top down. Once the latches are released, the top can be folded down manually. Start by folding down the front section of the top, and then continue to fold it down until it is completely flat against the trunk.
4. Secure the top. Once the top is folded down, it needs to be secured in place. There are two straps on the inside of the trunk that can be used to secure the top. Buckle the straps around the top and make sure they are tight.
5. Close the trunk. Once the top is secured, the trunk can be closed.
