1. Locate the emergency trunk release. On the Audi TT convertible, the emergency trunk release is located in the passenger footwell. It is a small, black lever that is near the door sill.
2. Pull the emergency trunk release lever. This will release the trunk latch and allow you to open the trunk.
3. Unlock the lock box. Once the trunk is open, you will need to unlock the lock box. If your car has not been modified then you can use your key to unlock the box. If your lock has been modified you will need to use the special key, credit card, or tool needed to open this style lock. Once unlocked you can open the box and manually release the latches to fully open the trunk.
Here are some additional tips for opening the trunk when the battery is dead on an Audi TT convertible:
* If you cannot find the emergency trunk release lever, you may need to use a flat-head screwdriver to pry open the trunk.
* Be careful not to damage the paint on your car when you are prying open the trunk.
* If the trunk is still locked after following the above steps, you may need to take your car to a dealership or auto repair shop.
Once you have opened the trunk, you can connect a jumper pack to the battery and start your car.
