- Coolant

- Funnel

Instructions:

1. Park your vehicle on a level surface and set the parking brake. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool.

3. Raise the vehicle using a jack and jack stands. You may need to remove the front wheels and wheel wells to access the heater core.

4. Remove the coolant lines. There are two coolant lines that connect to the heater core. Use a wrench to loosen the hose clamps and remove the hoses.

5. Remove the mounting bolts. There are two mounting bolts that hold the heater core in place. Use a wrench to loosen the bolts and remove them.

6. Lower the vehicle. Once the heater core is disconnected from the lines and the dash you can lower the vehicle.

7. Push down the heater core to release it from the firewall.

8. Remove the heater core from the vehicle. Be careful not to spill any coolant when you remove the heater core.

9. Install the new heater core. Replace the heater core by following the steps in reverse order. Be sure to replace any O-rings or gaskets and put any bolts and screws back to where they were taken from.

10. Test the heater core. Start the engine and turn on the heater fan. Feel for heat coming from the vents. If you don't feel heat, there may be a problem with the heater core.
