1. Park your car on level ground and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood of your car.
3. Locate the transmission fluid dipstick. It is usually located near the back of the engine, on the driver's side.
4. Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean with a rag.
5. Reinsert the dipstick into the transmission fluid reservoir.
6. Pull out the dipstick again and check the fluid level. It should be between the "ADD" and "FULL" marks on the dipstick.
7. If the fluid level is low, add enough automatic transmission fluid to bring it up to the "FULL" mark.
8. Reinsert the dipstick and close the hood of your car.
Note: It is important to check the transmission fluid level regularly, as low fluid levels can cause damage to the transmission.
