1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the lug nuts and take off the tire using lug wrench.
3. Remove the two bolts that hold the strut in place using socket wrench and ratchet.
4. Unbolt the sway bar from the strut.
5. Compress the spring using the spring compressor which will release tension on the strut.
6. Remove the strut from the vehicle.
7. Take the compressed spring off of the old strut and put the spring onto the new strut.
8. Mount the new strut to the vehicle.
9. Bolt the sway bar back to the strut.
10. Install the two bolts that hold the strut in place.
11. Lower the vehicle.
12. Install the lug nuts and put the hub cap back on.
13. Repeat the process for the other side.
Tips
* Make sure the vehicle is stable and supported when you are working on it.
* You may need to use a pry bar to loosen the nuts and bolts.
* Be careful not to drop the spring when you are removing it.
* Before installing the new struts, make sure they are the correct size for your vehicle.
