2. Remove the steering column covers by first removing the four screws on the underside of the steering column, then pulling the lower cover straight down and the upper cover straight up.
3. Remove the four bolts that hold the instrument cluster to the dashboard. The two lower bolts are located above the steering column and the two upper bolts are located below the instrument cluster.
4. Pull the instrument cluster straight out from the dashboard.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the back of the instrument cluster.
6. Locate the fan switch on the back of the instrument cluster.
7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the fan switch.
8. Use a screwdriver to remove the knob from the fan switch.
9. Use a socket wrench to remove the nut that holds the fan switch to the instrument cluster.
10. Remove the fan switch from the instrument cluster.
11. Reassemble the instrument cluster by reversing the above steps.
