1. Park another car with a good battery close to the Mercedes M-Class. Make sure the two vehicles are not touching.
2. Turn off the engines of both vehicles.
3. Open the hoods of both vehicles.
4. Locate the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals on the batteries. The positive terminal is usually marked with a "+" symbol, and the negative terminal is usually marked with a "-" symbol.
5. Connect one end of the jumper cables to the positive (+) terminal of the good battery.
6. Connect the other end of the jumper cables to the positive (+) terminal of the Mercedes M-Class.
