1. Gather the necessary tools and supplies.

The coolant reservoir is usually located near the top of the engine. Check the coolant level and add coolant if necessary.
15. Check the brake fluid level.
The brake fluid reservoir is usually located near the top of the master cylinder. Check the brake fluid level and add brake fluid if necessary.
16. Reconnect the battery.
Once you are finished with all of the maintenance, reconnect the battery.
17. Start the vehicle and test drive.
Once the battery is reconnected, start the vehicle and test drive it to make sure that everything is working properly.
