Can you use silver solder on gas copper supply lines?

Silver solder (also known as silver alloy brazing filler metal) can be used on copper lines that will carry non-potable gases. Do NOT use them if there is any chance there is an opportunity for potable water to cross-contaminate with gas lines if they should breach in the walls or at other places they cross paths during routing between different parts of any structure where such an occurrence could arise.
