1. Open the hood of your Pacifica.
2. Locate the thermostat housing. It is usually located near the top of the engine, towards the front of the vehicle.
3. The thermostat is housed inside the thermostat housing. To access the thermostat, you will need to remove the thermostat housing.
4. Once you have removed the thermostat housing, you will be able to see the thermostat. It is a round, metal disc with a spring-loaded valve in the center.
5. To remove the thermostat, simply use a screwdriver to pry it out of the housing.
6. Be careful not to lose the thermostat gasket when you remove the thermostat. The gasket is a thin, rubber ring that seals the thermostat housing.
7. Install the new thermostat by pushing it into the thermostat housing.
8. Make sure that the thermostat is seated properly in the housing.
9. Replace the thermostat gasket.
10. Replace the thermostat housing.
11. Tighten the thermostat housing bolts until they are snug.
12. Fill the radiator with coolant.
13. Close the hood of your Pacifica.
