- Flat-head screwdriver
- Phillips-head screwdriver
- Socket wrench set
- Torx bit set
Instructions:
1. Open the hood of your Mercedes and remove the plastic cover over the fuse box.
2. Locate the heater resistor. It is usually a small, black box located on the passenger side of the fuse box.
3. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry open the tabs that secure the heater resistor in place.
4. Unplug the electrical connector from the heater resistor.
5. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the screws that secure the heater resistor to the fuse box.
6. Remove the old heater resistor from the fuse box.
7. Insert the new heater resistor into the fuse box and secure it with the screws.
8. Plug the electrical connector back into the heater resistor.
9. Replace the plastic cover over the fuse box and close the hood of your Mercedes.
