1. Open the hood of your vehicle.
2. Locate the oil filler cap. It is usually located on the top of the engine, near the front of the vehicle. It has an orange or yellow cap.
3. Remove the oil filler cap.
4. Insert the oil dipstick into the oil filler tube.
5. Push the dipstick all the way in until it stops.
6. Pull the dipstick out and check the oil level. The oil level should be between the "FULL" and "ADD" marks on the dipstick.
7. If the oil level is low, add oil through the oil filler tube.
8. Replace the oil filler cap.
Make sure to check your oil level regularly, especially before long trips. Low oil levels can damage your engine.
